Let's get people talking about World Down Syndrome Day on March 21, 2018!
How? By wearing #LotsOfSocks!
But not just any socks...
...wear the official #LotsOfSocks socks, other brightly colored socks, long socks, printed socks, 1 sock… even 3 socks for 3 chromosomes.
If you do not normally wear socks, then wear them. And why stop at socks? Wear #LotsOfSocks t-shirts, WDSD t-shirts and other brightly colored clothing.
Autism Awareness Week
Our goal is to promote awareness and acceptance of Autism by embracing everyone's unique personalities. In addition to hearing an age appropriate story about Autism, we would like for our students to celebrate with us by participating in some fun school-wide theme days.
TUESDAY, APRIL 3rd: Wear BLUE to show your support for Autism
WEDNESDAY, APRIL 4th: Be Uniquely You!
Wear items of clothing that makes you unique. (ex. If on a baseball team, wear the jersey; member of a club t-shirt; heritage etc.)
THURSDAY, APRIL 5th: Be Comfortable with Who You Are!
Wear comfy, cozy clothes!
FRIDAY, APRIL 6th: Show Pride in Yourself!
Be proud of who you are, and let’s all come together by showing our pride! Wear Big Hollow Pride Wear or wear school colors of royal blue and white!
